The self-use office is located in the renovation project of the park and it’s the self-use office of the park property management company, including investment promotion, finance, and operations department. The office is on the third floor of the second office building and can enjoy the courtyard landscape of the park. The design aims at creating an open and free office merged with nature, promoting communication between departments.

The layout of the space is decided by four elements: the public and private attributes of function, the interrelation between functions, the need for daylight and ventilation of different degrees, and the dependence of function and landscape view. The space achieves rich levels through the interface of virtual and real, the difference in the form of ceiling and floor material changes.Starting from the entrance space, along the south side of the office, there are three public areas: the rest and waiting area, the public office area, the teahouse and the leisure bar area. One side of the office entrance space is next to the tea room, providing a waiting area for rest. The other side of the entrance area is the conference area. To realize better light penetration and improve the transparency of the space, the meeting room uses large floor-to-ceiling glass. At the same time, the entrance space is connected to the public office area and they are differentiated by the height and the material of the ceiling.The public office area owns the best view in the south, which is from the client’s agreement: small private office rooms and the meeting room make a sacrifice in the landscape while maintaining a degree of privacy.The tearoom and the lounge bar are in the west of the office, and the tearoom, as a place for receiving guests, enjoys the best view. The lounge bar is for employees’ resting, catering, and communication.

To insulate heat and shade, two three-meter-wide corridors are set to the west and the south, creating a semi-outdoor terrace for communication. Four entrances and exits connect the balcony and the three public spaces in the south. Staff can go through different kinds of office or public space and contact with nature.

In terms of materials, leisure areas like tea room and pantry room are decorated with teakwood of warm tone while the office and conference area are decorated with cold tones of black, white and grey: white walls, black veneer and grey terrazzo flooring.
