墨照建筑设计事务所由曾冠生先生于2015年在深圳创立。

墨照的设计实践围绕“场所性”而展开。建筑及空间的设计生成过程会与场地环境密切相关：区域的地貌和气候条件、场地的肌理和自然现状、地方的历史与文化，以及当地的材料和施工条件等。其次，事务所通过实践去思考建筑的社会价值与意义，并创造与环境融合和具有人文关怀的建筑空间。材料和建造的探索也是墨照设计实践的核心。因地制宜的材料与建造方式能真实诉说人的生活轨迹和场所特征，是感知建筑生命力和时间沉淀的媒介。

MOZHAO ARCHITECTS was founded by Guansheng Zeng in 2015, Shenzhen.

The design practice of Mozhao Architects is based on “Site”. The process of designing the building and space is closely related to the site environment: the geomorphology and climatic conditions of the area, context of the site and natural environment, local history and culture as well as local resources and construction conditions, etc. Secondly, the firm thinks about the social value and significance of the building through practice, and creates a building space that integrates with the environment and has humanistic care. Exploring materials and construction methods is also the core of the design practice of Mozhao Architects. The materials and construction methods according to local conditions not only can narrate the lifestyle of people and the essence of place, and are the medium for sensing the vitality and time of building.
